Witnessing to Grieving People
Grief is an inevitable part of life. People experience grief in response to loss, especially the death of a friend or loved one. Like everyone else, Christians grieve when they experience losses. However, God’s Word assures Christians that we do not grieve in the same way as unbelievers, who lack the comfort and hope that we have even amid the most serious of losses. “Witnessing to Grieving People” provides practical guidance to Christians for bringing God’s Word to nonchurched people experiencing grief. Using the LASSIE approach to witnessing, the contributors explain how to witness in a natural manner to the people we know from our workplaces, neighborhoods, friendships and families who are dealing with significant losses without the hope and comfort that only Christ can provide in such circumstances.
